In order to expand our custom cake design business, we closed our retail locations. Zach's Delectible Necessities closed its doors in December 2004 and, after 25 years, Zach's closed its Northeast bakery location in March 2005.
We have enjoyed the opportunity to provide you with our cakes, pastries, coffee and teas, and a variety of treats. It has been a pleasure to establish so many friendships and an active place in the community.
In December 2005, we moved forward in our journey to pursue other business and personal interests by relocating permanently to the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.

Chef Zach was a recent a guest on 10! WCAU-TV (NBC 10) featuring his Artist's Palette CollectionsTM with 10!'s Steve Levy and Amy Freeze. Zach's Cakes was choosen to be a part of the week-long series organized by Modern Bride Philadelphia offering Philadelphia viewers with wedding planning topics ranging from cakes to photography and dresses.

Chef Zach Meets Vera Wang
Emmerich Zach was a guest chef during The Neiman Marcus Bridal Event hosted by Modern Bride Philadelphia and Neiman Marcus.
Chef Zach's sweet creation in fondant and butter cream matches perfectly with the delicate embroidered lace and silk-satin gown designed by Vera Wang.
